Hi everyone, I'm hoping I get some help on troubleshooting the issue with my vehicle from some master techs on this forums. I have a X166 GL63 AMG I purchased back in January. The vehicle history has a gap from 9k miles to 92k miles and at 92k miles it had spark plug replaced / cyl 6 coil replaced and cyl 6 fuel injector swapped but no help from a non dealer shop. I had to do 3 oil changes because the conditions of the oil especially after 1k mile was the color 7 on the chart so it seemed like the previous owner didn't maintain it. Thankfully I typically do Seafoam treatments to all my vehicles and I notice improvements after each treatment oil change. The CEL was coming back on less often and condition of the oil the 3rd time was like the color 5 on the chart. The CEL comes on then goes away, along with the ECO mode being disabled then comes back on but less frequent recently like now after 9 days. Yesterday though I think I may have a hint of the possible culprit for these issues. I start my engine for the 2nd time of the day around the afternoon to warm up because it was at 55 degrees Celsius and it was jerking which didn't happen before, the CEL came on but this time blinked for 5-8 times then stopped and went steady but the car continued to jerk mildly. I quickly turned off the vehicle and waited 1 minute then turned it back on. That time there was no jerking, ECO mode was not disabled but the CEL stayed on. Any thoughts on what it could be? Thank you all for your input. I'm scheduled to have my spark plugs/coils redone and compression test done soon. Cyl 6 spark plug recently pulled.
