Advice needed - purchased a CPO lemon

Hi all. Could use some advice. Purchased a 2018 GLS63 CPO 12 months ago. This car has been nothing but a nightmare with both issues with the car and navigating the horrible Mercedes dealer network in New Jersey. I purchased the car out of state due to lack of availability of vehicles. I have the extended 2 year coverage on the car on top of the 1 year CPO coverage.

My issue is that the car is repeatedly in the shop for 1-2 weeks at a time with roughly a 1-2 break between that. The problems with the car started immediately with brake fluid leaking from a bleed valve and the front bumper sensors not working. Of course the dealer blamed the sensors on me and made us pay to "correct" the problem, which they didn't do. I had to pay for a brake bleed on the car 2 weeks after taking delivery since somehow that is my responsibility (2 weeks after the car was CPOd).

Now I am in "check engine" light hell. The first time it was due to a misfire. They replaced all the injectors, plugs, etc. and then found an oil leak, which resulted in a new front gasket and most of the cooling system being replaced. 2 weeks later the car couldn't start, resulting in a new fuel pressure regulator and comments around "questionable gas" despite documented proof of purchasing from only a high-volume and non-discount brand (BP - which the service advisor recommended!). Now the car has yet another code (after only 400 miles) - turbocharger underboost.

This car spends an incredible amount of time laid up. It is my family's daily driver and trip car. I no longer trust it as my wife has now had to return 3 times in the last 2 months with engine problems. If I added up the days out of service, it would qualify as a lemon if it were a new car.

Any suggestions on how to proceed? Due to *insane* depreciation in the last 12 months ($60 per day!!!) and the fact I pre-paid my warranty + tire/wheel protection plan I'd like to avoid taking such a huge loss. Plus, what else is comparable? I absolutely went from loving this vehicle to despising it. My wife is sick of it and said she no longer wants to drive it. The dealers don't car and never offer a loaner car (usually 2-3 weeks out). Am I supposed to just sit for 2-3 weeks on a non-running car before I can get a c300 for the week?

For the record - I always knew this car would consume tires, gas, and brakes. 0 issues with that! I just cannot tolerate it breaking down every 2 weeks.

Thank you in advance for any advice.

I feel certain MBUSA will give you $1,000 off the purchase of a new GLS. You may just need to find a different dealer or call MBUSA to see if they can intervene.
