Wheel bolt size/thread ?

Hello all

Can y'all tell me what size and thread the wheel bolts are for a 2021 GLS63?

I have seen 2 different sizes and am not sure so I figured someone here should know

M14x1.5 or M15x1.25 ?

THANKS!

Might be market dependent but I thought also X167 GLS 63 have M15x1.25? What wheels do you have, and what tires? Are you located in the USA?

As per MB parts catalog.

looks like the new ones are the weird style with a collar on them P/N 0009904418 - no details on thread pitch provided.

Older 2016 GL63 provides thread pitch - but is a normal style lug bolt that likely would not work for the newer model. M14x1.5x48.5 P/N 0009905407

not quite sure why they (MB) changed it but we still need OP to reply with the wheels they have, the market they are in and tires they have to determine which one is which. Usually a VIN will help too.

OK, so I found out the answer to my own question. For reference, I am in the US market with a X167 2021 GLS63. I have the OEM 23 inch AMG wheels which came with staggered sizes

X167 GLS63 has M15x1.25 bolts/threads on hub
X166 GL/GLS 63 has M14x1.5

I have had both and can confirm the sizes changed from X166 to X167 generation

This issue came up when I had to buy new winter wheels after I buggered them up after a minor crash. I decided to replace my OEM winter wheels with aftermarket wheels and bought ones with the incorrect backspacing - so I had to buy spacers to make them work as they wheels were not returnable. I needed to find the correct threading to buy the correct spacers

Left is X166 bolt (M14x1.5), Right is X167 (M15x1.25)

Glad you figured it out OP, thanks for also sharing this information for future reference for forum members stumbling upon your post.

What length did you get for your bolts and what size spacer? I am running into this same issue. I got 10mm and 20mm spacers to try. Just having an issue with bolt length now.
