2017 GLS63 transmission slip and intermittent jerky operation after trans service
A few weeks ago I had my 2017 GLS63 serviced at an indy shop, they replaced trans fluid and filter.(Later confirmed to be the right fluid purchased from the dealer.)
Wife observed an intermittent jerky operation of the vehicle when leaving from a stop through intersections and merging at low speeds into traffic.
I test drove it and experienced both the jerky operation typically occurring during warmup and shortly after which goes away after extended driving, and a trans slip when under moderate to heavy load at any time that would occasionally result in it entering a kind of limp mode most noticeable by how it shifts afterwards in Sport+ mode.
There was also a CEL that came on but disappeared shortly after.
I plugged in Xentry diagnostic but no trans codes.
I returned to the indy shop and they determined they under filled trans and added a quart of fluid.
I tested and the issue was still there, I reset the transmission adaptation and that seemed to help but the issues still persisted.
Today I did some more troubleshooting and decided to plug Xentry in again afterwards.
3 codes found during the test of the trans control unit.
P072300
P073000
P073200
Is this the result of the trans still being underfilled?
