Ventilated Seats

Seat ventilation filters? Never heard of those on an MB. The difference is MB pulls in the air below the seat which is ambient. Other manufacturers actually used cooled air directly from the system. My only guess as to why is to reduce the chances of the mold forming in and under the seat perforations.

I have a 2017 gls63 also. I had issues with the drivers seat ventilation. They replaced under warranty. Works great.

MB’s of all kinds.
MB has ventilated seats. They basically just recycle the air inside the car into the seat. They are just fans in the seats. MB and German scientists I have been told discovered a cold colon is not good. Other car companies such as GM and Ford make a cooled seat that actually chills. MB is not the only one who makes a car with ventilated seats.
