Active Curve/CPO Question

Active Curve/CPO Question
Does anyone know if CPO typically covers problems with Active Curve? The is for an 18 GLS 63. Unfortunately after my many issues with the car, I've realized that the CPO warranty is pretty terrible. I'm already thousands out of pocket in the last few weeks with other issues. Car has been broken 16 weeks out of 80 weeks of ownership and has totaled $19000 of warranty and non-warranty repairs.
If it's not likely to be covered by CPO, I'd like to forgo the $500 diagnostic fee the dealers charge me in my area + $300/hour labor + 30-40% markup over what Mercedes already charges for parts.
Thank you in advance. What an awful vehicle. My last Mercedes ever.

Thanks. Will find out tomorrow. CEL came on again yesterday now too ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
This car is horrible. May fix it and eat a massive loss. Do not trust it anymore for it's main purpose - large family/road trip car. Does not seem to make it more than 1-2 weeks without a problem these days. Last Mercedes for me ever.

The issues I've had with my 63 are a bad active curve pump, front struts, engine mounts, and broken air line in the driver's side seat. Overall, pretty reliable for an AMG MB. Oh, and the windshield washer pump is not working. Think it is clogged.

Almost any claim on my last 3 AMGs were covered post initial warranty, but under CPO: E63s, S63, GL63. My dealer has been great in every instance.

Honestly, sounds like just as much of a problem with your stealership as with the car itself. I would try to not let this dampen your enthusiasm about the model (or the whole brand) itself - most W166s are sturdy as hell and reliable. Sucks that you got a lemon or something.
As an update, the car has now been out of service since my original post. The CEL came on yet again so the car went to the dealership about 2 weeks ago for both issues. They are now $13000 into warranty repairs on the engine due to turbo issues and yet more oil leaks. This is on top of the ~$10k in engine work they did a year ago (oil leaks, coolant lines, injectors, coil packs, fuel regulator, etc.). In just under 2 years of ownership this car has now had $30k in work done to it. It's ABSURD. It's a financial debacle for me as the car has depreciated so heavily, lost time of use, repair costs and upkeep. It's hard not to view Mercedes negatively; I do think they deserve their latest reliability rating second from the bottom.
Dealer has yet to diagnose the active curve issue as the engine repair work took priority. Who knows, maybe there will be another $5-10k in repairs to come next week! If I'm lucky I may make it 2-3 weeks before the car breaks down again.
