Apple Car Play port issue?
Hello folks -
I have a 2021 X167 and the USB-C port for the smartphone (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) port by the wireless charger seems dead. The adjacent non smartphone USB-C port seems fine, but using the one designated for smartphone doesn't even register power on any of my phones nor changing cables, but does on the other ports… Ive tried multiple cables and other ports in the car and oddly the “smart” one is dead, not able to register any power to phone either.
I reset the MBUX system, no change. I checked fuses against the foldout reference table in the cargo area, nothing that I can see that is designated for that port.
Any other suggestions before I bring it in for service? I did visually check the port to see if any damage or debris, none that I could see with the naked eye….
Thanks
