AMG Box and Carrier Bars on GLS 63 - box came partially detached
I installed the AMG box on the Benz basic carrier bars on my 2024 GLS 63 and loaded it up with luggage.

I DID NOT remove any of the weatherstripping on the carrier bars, but clicked the box in, as the weatherstripping material is flexible. When I went to unload my luggage I saw two of the clips had popped up and become unfastened.

Does anybody know if you must cut out pieces of the weatherstripping? I'm trying to understand if that was the problem.
