backup camera?
Picked up my new GLA 4MATIC, with Premium (with Comand), Premium Plus, and Exclusive (interior) pkg. Yes, with all that, I don't have a backup camera - I was told at time of ordering (early March) that it was not available due to a supplier issue.
I see ads for oem backup camera kits (for GLA/CLAs) that supposedly integrate perfectly with Comand NTG5. Anyone have any experience with this?
Am I going to be able to get the head-unit out (to plug this thing in) and take of the panel from the hatch - without leaving marks? (or will I need special tools?) Anyone know of any installers around Toronto or Buffalo you'd trust this with, or should I trust my dealership to do this?

My dealership in Calif. won't install back up cam. They wanted me to order the car with ALL the options or live with what I got. Let me know what you find out on the OEM option.

Whatever it is make sure it's OEM equipment. With the quirky limitless electronics in newer cars, I could see a dealer or MB saying "well, that stopped working because of your aftermarket camera so it's not our fault"
