How to have small key replaced

I took my GLA 250 to Costco for a tire repair. When I received the key fob back the little internal key that goes in the bottom was missing. The technician must have tried using it to open the car or something. The guy there insisted that the fob was like that when I handed it over and I insisted otherwise.

Now I want to replace the key with another one. If that possible to do aftermarket?

if you're using the similar Smartkey as I with the w210 models, the metal key
is a relatively low cost of approx $10-20. since this falls under the Mercedes
Theft Relevant Policy you will likely be asked to have the car on site as well
as presenting your ID and proof of ownership of the vehicle.
