The I've Got a 2016 GLA On Order Thread
Please chime in if you've got one on order.
This is day two since our GLA250 Sport 4Matic was built, without any news of it being trucked or shipped to Tampa.
EDIT: You may be right. I've tried to find any information about the GLA being made in Alabama and I can't find any. My dealer told me it was being built there, but that doesn't mean it was. Which really bites. As now I may be waiting for it to be shipped here. Bummer to the max.......

This really puts a wrinkle in things. My 2016 C300 Sport is sitting at the dealer and I had hoped to get both at the same time. Ah, the best laid plans, right?

Just reading that you are waiting on the arrival of your new GLA,
I live in Australia, purchased a new GLA about one month ago,
on checking the vehicle I noticed that it was made in Czechoslovakia,
after reading what you have said I had a look online to see where Mercedes are making the GLA now? I found the following online.
Bye the way, they are a realy great car to drive and I am sure you will be very happy with your new Mercedes GLA

Mercedes-Benz has begun production of the GLA SUV at its assembly plant in Pune, India, expanding its local production portfolio to six model series.
The plant has recently been extended and now has a capacity of 20,000 units annually, the largest for any luxury carmaker in India. With the production of the GLA, the Pune facility will build six different model series: S-, E- and C-Class sedans as well as GL, M-Class and GLA SUVs.

But according to my salesman their dealership is still "waiting for Mercedes-Benz USA to release the 2016 GLA pricing and vehicles nationwide."
The fact they've at least announced the 2016 pricing and options, means your car should be released soon. If'n ours ever makes it's way across the ocean, maybe they'll be releasing them to dealers by then. If'n it ever is assigned to a ship, that is.........
