Clicking noise at 25mph!!
Hello all,
I hear a strange click noise whenever my GLA crosses 25mph (after engine start).
I know about the other clicking noise when turning the steering left or right (the dealer fixed this under warranty).
But the new noise comes from the steering well. If I am driving real slowl to get to 25mph I could even get a small feedback from the gas pedal along with the click noise. And the noise occur only when the car is started fresh, once I cross 25mph then it doesn't happen until I stop the engine completely and start again.
The dealership had called MB back office and the explanation I got was "the car does some preliminary checks every time it is started like stability system, steering system, etc. and it makes that click noise at 25 mph. This is common in all GLAs".
Has anyone experience similar problem? Can someone confirm this?
What else I can do to get rig of this noise?
