Question Tire Chains for GLA250 4Matic?

I have a 2016 GLA250 4Matic with wheel size 235/50R 18 (All Season M/S Run Flats). I read in the manual to never put chains on the rear wheels and to only mount chains in pairs on the front wheels. So, does anyone know which chains are compatible with my vehicle, and super easy to install? (Note: I live in the state of WA and even AWD vehicles are required to have them onboard.) The Thule Easy Fit chains look great as they're so easy to install in the videos, but I don't think they make them for my vehicle. Can anyone make any recommendations? Thank you!

Hey there! Did you ever find the answer to this question? I’m in the same boat right now. I drive a 2015 GLA 250 4MATIC with 235/50 RF18 All weather tires. The manual states that use of snow chains is not permitted, but snow chains/traction devices are required in areas of CA where I will be driving. So confused and need help!

did you find out about this? I'm going to Tahoe the next week and I heard they might require chains even for AWD cars like the GLA 250 4MATIC with those tires. I have the same tires as you and not sure what to do... I guess even if they don't require you to put them, we'd have to be prepared.

Having grown up in a snowy state, I highly recommend actual snow tires. You can also buy them with studs for additional traction. Actual snow tires are far superior to all season tires for winter driving. I would also suggest you also look into an anti-rust coating for the undercarriage of your car as driving on salted roads is very damaging and notorious for causing serious rust issues. You might also want to take a winter driving course to really be well prepared for the conditions you'll be facing when you drive in snow and ice.
