Has anyone seen the GLB in the USA; does it have console cover?

Has anyone seen the GLB in the USA; does it have console cover?

I've seen dozens of pictures showing the console having a folding cover for the cup and/phone cubby holders. I"ve also seen dozens that look like they don't have a cover and are open ended. Maybe a US versus European thing? Can anyone who has seen one in the US confirm?

By the way, I posted here in the GLA forum since there isn't a GLB forum.

Well I test drove today and can answer my own question. No, it does not have a cover

how was the test drive and what did you think?
i didn't test drive it but sat in it in the showroom and it was suprisingly spacey... moreso than the GLC!

I've just received mine and so far so good. drive is improved over my old gla. No console cover and a couple of odd things i've not seen before. there is a strange rubber arm that can hold your phone down over the charging panel.

also a mystery: I don't have nav but do have a map pilot sd card. The system asks me to insert the map data but i've yet to find the sd card slot. I've looked everywhere!

Between the GLC and GLB both with 19 inch wheels, I found the GLB to be slightly less comfortable in ride, plus the windshield area is bigger on the GLC. The GLB seems to be spacer inside because it doesn't have the wider and more elaborate console that the GLC has. After adjusting the seats in the GLC, I found it be more than adequate in space seating. The GLB is taller in the cargo/trunk area, the GLC wider. The doors and fit and finish felt a little cheaper on the GLB model. Noticed you really have to slam the GLB doors to get them to close properly. The interior clicky buttons, lack of cup holder covers, and less luxurious interior were also noted (personal preference). So many options that are standard on the GLC have to be ordered as optional on the GLB, raising it's base price significantly.

We ended up getting the GLC model because of the wonderful end of year discount we got on an exact model with options we wanted, trucked in from Iowa to Ohio....one of those deals "you can't refuse"!! We couldn't get practically anything off by ordering a GLB because of the newness and lack of incentives on a new model, making the choice easy.
