Exclamation GLA 250 Sirius Receiver Module location???

The Sirius XM satellite radio randomly stopped working in my car -- COMAND unit still shows the channels and you can scroll through them but no sound or channel information comes up. Spoke with Sirius for a long time and they tried everything, finally said it must be something with the car. Took it to the dealership, they said the tuner needed to be replaced. AM/FM radio works fine. Can anyone point me to where the satellite radio receiver is in this car?? I cannot find it anywhere. Hoping to save some money in repairs, dealership wants to charge $1500 which seems steep. Thanks!

Am I to assume that your car is no longer under the MB warranty?

Ouch, that's painful. Hopefully another GLA owner will be able to suggest a less costly alternative.

The SiriusXM receiver/tuner is located on the passenger side of the trunk/storage in a GLA250. After receiving a replacement estimate from the MB dealer, I
went to a radio repair shop and it took about twenty minutes to locate the receiver, copy the numbers off of it, and buy a replacement tuner on E-bay for $200.
Total cost for tuner and labor, $300.
I have instructions for locating and removal and reinstallation.
if anyone wants it.

2015 GLA250 4Matic
Tgavlick, Just picked up a 2015 GLA250 4Matic and Sirius can't change radio registration. Either the GLA doesn't have Sirius and I need to add a module or old module is not working. I am interested in the location and your instructions. My wife picked it up at dealer and I have not seen it yet. Equipment list from dealer shows 8 speakers, Premium Comand audio system, weather band radio, AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system, & radio data system. Does not list SiriusXM anywhere but I have heard that if something happens it goes to weather only channel. It is wife's car and she likes to listen to SiriusXM. Appreciate the help. Regards from Texas.
