Other than increasing displacement (boring and stroking) or changing cams or swapping for a 43, how can I get more low end torque on my GLA250. I miss the low-end torque of a V8 until the turbo kicks in. I've installed the GFB (Go Fast Bits) and DinanTronicsSport mods. Perhaps these decreased torque in favor of horsepower. The low torque is particularly noticeable with the elevation of 5000 to 10,000 ft in which I operate 'cause of the lack of O2 and pressure boost at low rpm. Thanks for any suggestions...

$15K to get some additional torque out of an "entry level" 4-banger SUV? Wouldn't be for me either.

There must be a much more cost effective code-tune available for the transmission control unit along with increased turbo output.
