Alternate Auxiliary Battery Does Not Have Ventillation Port (opening)
Hi Guys,
I have a GLA 200CDI 2016 MODEL.(X156).
Recently the auxilary battery Malfunction light came on and i decided to change the battery myself.
The original battery is FIAMM and i could only manage a VARTA battery of the same specs.
12V12Ah 200A.
However i noticed that there is NO VENTILATION port in the VARTA battery the
seller told me that it does not have any gas formation
Hence there is no need for the vent pipe.
Will it be ok to use the Varta battery and just leave the ventilation pipe un connected?

I taped the vent, then drilled new hole at oem hole location.
But, even without any vent, most likely nothing bad will happen.
