Thinking about getting the first gen GLA250

Hello,

I’m looking around for a 2015-2020 GLA 250.
Love the styling and the way it looks.

For those that owns/knows of these cars, can anyone tell me if the back cargo area has enough room for sleeping with the rear seats folded down? This is when going on a camping trip.

Also, please share your experiences about how you like this car and the amount of cargo you move in general. I know it’s not the biggest but wanted to see what I can get away with carrying in the back area. Thanks!

Some things I may use it for….putting in a mtn bike, purchase occasional items from Home Depot and possibility some small furniture.

Will

Well, since no owner chimed in, I will chime but not as an owner hopefully some questions I ask you might help actual owners chime in and allow them to help you out : ) here goes:

If for sleeping when camping, it really depends on how tall you are, our heights are all different... so how tall are you OP?

I would suggest getting the facelift (I believe it was 2018+?) because of some nice upgrades to perhaps the lights and the interior and maybe the infotainment?

Depends on what cargo, golf clubs? suitcases? luggage? tents? groceries? sleeping bags? furniture? etc.?

I guess it also depends on the bike, small items from home depot like for home renovating? small furniture examples? chairs? desk?

Hopefully with your answer to these questions, perhaps actual owners might be able to help you out.

You can check the GLA review below if the trunk is big enough for you or go for a test drive and evaluate yourself:

I fitted 2 mountain bikes in the trunk of 2009 Subaru Forester XT, which is similar size to GLB. So I can recommend GLB for a bike:
