Looking to lease a GLA45, question about discount
Hi all,
My local dealer is playing a bit of hardball. They have a GLA45 in stock that appears to have been there for quite sometime. It has nearly 3000 miles on it, also some pretty sizable damage to the front bumper that they said they will fix prior to sale. They are selling it as a new vehicle but I have questions.
What's odd is that the website lists MSRP at 59k for that exact VIN, but in person they put the MSRP at 64.7k and are trying to tell me that the website is showing the sale price not MSRP (but every single other vehicle they list reflects the MSRP ).
Anyways, despite the fact that its an AMG my gut says I should be able to get over 15% discount off MSRP all things considered. I wish the 2016 models were here to help light a fire under their *** a bit more, but I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts on that as a goal for my sale price discount?

The sticker on my GLA45 was $59900 or so. I got 12% off and I got a good financing deal. The car was on the lot since April. A Crossover/Hatch AMG is a unique vehicle that only a few of us will like. I think the dealer thinks your hooked on the vehicle and is trying to exploit you.
Try using True Car and get a price. I don't know what market you are in so things may be different.

My previous lease was a base model 2014 C250, and the upgrade over that in a loaded 2016 C300 is staggering. The interior IMO is superior to the E class (although once the new model is out I bet that will change), I just love the waterfall center console with open pore black ash wood. For this reason I was having concerns over considering the GLA45.
As far as driving goes, it's a definite upgrade over my C250, the added power and transmission seems to have been improved. But it can't even compare to the GLA45 that I test drove. The low end torque and that throaty rumble made that car a lot of fun to drive, so I can only imagine what the 2016 GLA45 will be like.

They ended up responding to me an hour after I finished the paperwork on my C300. $9k offer off the $64k MSRP GLA45 with 3k miles. I feel I might have been able to get a deal done had they not taken 2 days to reply and left me in the dark.

Who's offering more than 10% off ? pls let me know
Local dealer was swearing they were giving me the best deal in town
GLA 45 / $61,825 / $789 w/ $2800 out of pocket / 12k miles / w/ MSDS of 10x$750 = $720 x 36 months (this includes paying off my trade-in, which they offered me 3k less than other BMW/MB dealership too)
I left and going to look at other dealerships inventory..

I'm in the Northeast, affluent area, it was November and the dealer had a 2015 car that no one wanted with summer tires on it. That's why I got such a good deal. The car had almost no interest in it. It was on the dealer lot from April to Nov and only had 156 miles on it.

I was quoted for a 36 mo lease: $833 per mo $0 down, tax in the payments on a '15 with a $62k sticker. I'm holding out until the end of the month.
