Hi everyone,

Can't seem to find ANY details about this. My shop said that I have to change rear axle oil after 10K km (also called "differential oil").

Looked all over. Couldn't find any details about it.

Some places said use 235.7, but no Castrol / Valvoline alternatives here. Service manual says nothing.

Eventually I called the shop about the oil and asked for the MB approval number - they said its 235.62.

Even worse for 235.62 - couldn't find ANY ALTERNATIVE at all. Nothing.

(and thats after they want to charge me ~200USD for 1 litter!!)


Any thoughts?
