Has anyone purchased the tune from Velos? Are you satisfied? What gains did you receive?

 

I have not. I've been researching a few of the different M133 tuners (AMS, Eurocharged, OE Tuning, etc) but I'm just not loving the idea of mailing my ECU. Fifteen years ago I used a laptop, ECUflash and a $25 OBD2 dongle to easily change between high octane, 91, and valet tunes on my Evo VIII. How complicated does this really need to be?

 

I'd say thats a kinda brand philosophy on how much encryption is in the ECU (you do any dongling on a toyo? yeah, I thought so)
and of course, the grassroots desire to get in there ( % of 22year old owners hell bent on getting into the fueling tables)......... and here, my friend, is where an Evo beats out a 70K merc
