Rear Trim Removal (Bumper + Trunk Lid)

Does anyone have a guide on how to the remove the two trims - one being the chrome insert of the bumper, and the other in the center of the trunk?

Is bumper removal necessary for the bumper trim? And for the trunk lid trim, does the inside of the trunk need to be taken apart to access something from behind?

I'm not sure what they're being held in by.. but they've been bugging me an insane amount now. Mercedes decides to black out all the trim minus those pieces........ so annoying.

I found a post on another forum which also had a user question him on how it was removed... but unfortunately the OP said he simply had the shop remove it for him.

Thanks in advance.

hey

so yeah, totally agree with the night package ****up

the 2 pics you post, not yours right?

anyway, the removed version has value.

I am now 100% confident to have a go at the bumper trim with my tools. that pops off

the boot lid.....
see that little hole a t the far left? yeah, mebbe a thru retainer there. mebbe. also, the trim keepers along the run, they look enough of a **** show I think I will wrap that in place.

So, whatcha using for film ?
I did my roof panels in 1080 white, its not polar enough, but kills the sun, I was reccomended some Avery to redo it in

I have some smoke film for the tails as well, but many other projects in front of that
