I've been lurking around here a while now and as I'm lucky enough to have a free company car for my job (+ gas!), I've been looking at getting a fun, weekender that I can enjoy for a couple of years - the GLA45 came to the top of the list. I love quirky, uncommon, fast cars and this checked all of the boxed. I recently has a W203 C55 that I kept for a half a year but needed to sell when it became a money pit. So here are my two options:
1) CPO MY16 GLA45 (29k miles, $32k) - sold by a dealer in the San Diego area. I went to drive yesterday and it was nearly immaculate! Also was Night Black with the Night and AMG Aerodynamic Package was equipped + performance seats
2) Private sale MY16 GLA45 (35k miles, $28k) - still has 6 months remaining on CPO warranty, is owned and maintained by a owner who doesn't drive it enough in Iowa. White with CF, Night Package and essentially fully loaded. Also has the Red Cut Performance seats.
My question is this - which option seems best to you and do you think I could find a buyer to take it over if I got sick of it within a year. Thinking of getting a loan and not going through MB on the CPO.

what is on there will dictate the percieved value in money, and resellable
for me, its a very ala carte kinda thing with a merc, not at all like a asian good better best, best+nav, take your pic

Yes...the list.....
I think the private sale GLA45 (the $69k White example) is the better example...despite having more miles and less CPO warranty left...
