Loss of power - Timing Retardation (Need help here guys)

Hi there,

I own a GLA45 AMG and I put it on dyno last week and only got 280hp so figured something is not right, other stock GLA45 was making 310-320 hp on dyno. I did some datalogging and found excessive timing retardation around 2500 to 5000 rpm (as attached).

Tried new plugs and coils, new knock sensor, new crank sensor, checked for leaking hoses, everything else was done, but can't seem to pinpoint the issue here. Even tried running RON100 fuel with octane booster, but doesn't seem to help at all.

Has anyone had similar issue? Mind to give a helping hand here? Ran out of ideas or parts to swap or replace, hence here looking for help.

GLA45 mit optionz; MS6 8 port & stuff
hey
so first, were you tuning on the dyno, if so, hang this around his neck

aside from that, if this was my MS6, I would first, be logging several other things
you must know these values, whatever Merc calls em, thats your prob.

KR
commanded load
WGDC
comanded AFR

then just get a nice pull/run WOT from 2500 up
when you first see change in the KR value, look to see how the ecu reacted

pull spark?
add fuel?
reduce actual load(mebbe see this with a mild bump in the WGDC)

There is such a thing as fake knock, you can get a loose part tapping against the block at the right pattern to be percieved as knock.

and you can just instead of trying the AV gas thing, just chuck a gallon of meth in the tank. that will stop a real knoc cold

if you still need more opinions, repost and pretend you have a 63, or whatever uses the v8 biturbo

cuz
