I am replacing the shocks on a GL450 and I noticed they come in at lease two varieties. The worn shock doesn’t have the piece that looks like a solenoid (not sure what it is) that also comes with a connector. My question is can I use this strut anyway or do I need to send it back. If I can use it, what do I plug it into or can I just cut the cable? Please help.
