New GLA owner question
I bought a 2021 GLA 45 AMG last month, and fell in love. My problem is I didn’t know the stereo in it sucked until on my way home from the dealership at 9:30 at night. I went back the next day and service messed with it and told me to bring it back when I made an appointment for them to check it out. They had it for almost two weeks and can’t figure out why the sound is so poor. It does not have the Burmester Audio. The car was a special order someone backed out of. Service said they reached out to Mercedes and even showed me the email that it’s a known software issue. Anyone else experiencing this? I’ve already called the customer care and they have escalated my issue, but I haven’t heard back yet.

Congrats on your new GLA. So sorry for your trouble. Sounds like you've done all you can at this point. Sometimes it just takes time for the engineers in Germany to resolve such an issue. Good lock and keep us posted.

Sorry to hear that man. Was it not mentioned in the equipment list that it has burmester sound system omitted? That’s crazy if they didn’t. Being top spec you’d expect it to come equipped with it!
My GLA35 fortunately has the burmester sound system equipped and it sounds amazing (way better than the Harman Kardon that was in my old CLA250 and that wasn’t half bad).

Interesting... I have a 2018 GLA 45 and the stereo is HORRIBLE. I always assumed that was just the way it is, but now I am curious if I am missing some kind of update. Is there an official Mercedes TSB on this problem?
