GLA AMG 35 New Build.

Hello, I am new to the forum and have a question for the more experienced. I live with a roommate who has had 7 E350's since 2010. His last one was in December (2023) and it had everything. I decided to put in an order for my first Mercedes in Feb, however was told that I have to wait for an "allocation" and at that time, my seat color, ventilated seats, and Active Drivers Assistance package were all delayed. Then the DOG showed that ventilated seats are only available on the sport AMG seats. My allocation came up yesterday as approved (03/22), however my sales person said that they declined as some of my choices were not available. Has anyone else encountered this frustration? Does anyone close to Mercedes ordering know if this is temporary, or if I am not going to get what I want?

Meanwhile my roommate and I went to the local dealership to talk about it, and we saw a 23 GLE AMG 53 Coupe, and he traded his new E350 for that one, and of course it has every option you could get. I do love the GLE, just want my car...

There are a lot of threads about Mercedes supply chain issues with various models. This is not going away anytime soon. You can wait and see if MB will build your car as requested, or you can cut some options. It took 3 months for me to get a build okayed for a customers EQB300.
