Any other GLA 45S in North, Central or South America?
When I initially tried to order my '23 GLA 45S back in January, my dealer (Dominican Republic) mentioned the model was not on the list available from the factory. A few weeks passed, so I ordered a Macan GTS. Subsequently my Mercedes dealer called to say he secured an allocation for a May build. I decided to cede the Macan to my wife and go ahead with the 45S order too. It took another couple of weeks for the dealer to get pricing and access to the configurator for our country.
Recently the dealer mentioned that this was not an issue for our specific market, but rather an issue for the Latin America Región. Apparently only AMG 35 were available for our region (in addition to non AMG variants). I realize the GLA 45 model has been available in Canada and the US. But not the 45S. Which leads me to suspect this car may be the only GLA 45S in the hemisphere. Are there any other 45S in the region???

Agreed. I just got the 2023 GLA45 last month. I noticed that MBZ doesn’t have a 2024 GLA45 on its website. It’s my understanding that the GLA 45-S is not available in the US. My suspicion is that the 45 and 45-S would detract from sales for the new 2024 GLC43.
The facelift GLA 45 S was revealed for a few months now, it might come to the USA but not sure. That said, usually if a vehicle is planned to come to the USA media.mbusa.com will have press release on it. Is there any on the site?
