Hello--my wife bought a 2025 GLA this past winter (Feb.) and she's put about 7500 miles on it. This morning on the way to work she got a low oil warning light telling her the car needed a quart of oil. Anyone seen this before? Seems strange for a brand new car to be going through that much oil so quickly. My old VW Golf used to burn that much oil, but it was 10 years old and over 100k. What gives?
It's possible that it could be a faulty sensor. Regardless, the warning light should be taken seriously and your wife should take her car back to the MB dealership ASAP to have it checked out since the car is under warranty.
