I'm in the market for a commuter in a big city. 30 miles each way, all interstate with some typical mixed in bumper to bumper and some cruising. Crazy as it sounds I'm considering a sub 50K mile H247, M340i, GS 450H or newer ES350. GTI or R was in the running but the GLA 45 seems to be a much better proposition due to market demand and my pro/con list. I'm curious to hear any thoughts on owning this car out of warranty but certainly willing to be faithful to the maintenance. I've driven the ES350, GTI, M340i but not the GS450H or GLA 45. I had a GS 400 back in the day and drove a supercharged W202 sedan for ten years and lost my E63S wagon in a flood a few years ago. Driving a huge Yukon XL Denali for the last few years and would like to keep that at the house. There are parts of the B58 recent reliability that tempts me as well as the 3.5V6 hybrid Lexus. Wondering also thoughts on the wheelbase and ride if I'm putting 60 or 70 miles a day on it.
