DIY Oil Change on GLB250, anyone yet?

DIY Oil Change on GLB250, anyone yet?

I don't see an oil dipstick.

How do I use the dashboard display to find out what my oil level is after I drained and filled with fresh oil (with a new oil filter)?

We also have a GLA250 4Matic. The GLA250 has an oil dipstick.

A few years ago I had SLK55 AMG HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE and there was no dipstick. But I was able to read the oil level on the MFD in the center of the dashboard with a sequence of button pushing on the steering wheel.

Evidently the GLB is more advanced?

Please help.

Thanks

Engine oil

Checking the engine oil level using the onboard computer
Requirements:
  • The engine has warmed up.
  • The vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • The engine is running at idle speed.
The engine oil level is determined during driving.
Determining the engine oil level can take up to
30 minutes with a normal driving style and even
longer with an active driving style.

Thanks. I finally was able to see the graphic display of the oil gauge on the dashboard.

Was it pretty easy to do? Did you have to remove a bunch of panels to get to the drain plug?
