Hi All, I heard the Mexico production plant for GLB is suspended at the moment, so where is GLB produced for North America, specifically for Canada ?

Also, any idea on where is the New GLA produced ?

I'm almost positive that all North American GLB production is in Mexico like the A-Class. GLA being on the front drive based/compact architecture is very likely being built in Mexico as well.

I got the Mexico production stopped info from 2 different dealer at Toronto... also saw Web news on MB decided to stop make A class sedan in Mexico as well. I also heard GLB is short on supply at the moment.

Net is I need a car by Nov... and If Mexico not making GLBs, where else will produce those ?

The only place in the world where the GLB is produced is Aguascaliente, Mexico. A class was moved out of there so more GLBs could be made.

Hi why does the VIN of a GLB starts with a W if its assembled in Mexico? Thanks
