Can you leave car running with ac on and doors locked?

Not sure if the car will let you Close doors, while car is running and nobody in the car, however if you turn it off, lock, and remote start the engine the car will run for 10 minutes with AC on.

The remote start idea is great. There is another method, not sure if this will work but you can use your physical key (the metal key not the key fob) to manually lock the vehicle from outside once you have your engine on? First use the buttons to lock all the other doors then exit the vehicle. You need to remove the key cover first on the driver's door with that key and then insert the key inside, rotate to lock. Please confirm if it is indeed locked before walking away.
