2021 GLB STOCK / 2022 GLB PREORDER
i’m in the market for a GLB250 4matic with a few options, like pano roof, 64 ambient, heated seats, and 19” wheels.
Been searching around for 2021 models but no dealers are budging saying the same thing over and over, microchip issues and inventory shortage issues, which I understand since I myself know about the issue very well as I work for a different car manufacture. However, since all dealers are already taking 2022 model preorders, I feel like something can be done with 2021 models.
If anyone know where I can get a good deal on either a 2021 stock or even on a 2022 preorder, please let me know. I’m located in Georgia but I’m willing to go to any state in the east coast for the right deal.
Thanks for your time everyone 😊
Also per German website, 2022 orders will be missing below options. I see that even German GLB's come from Mexico, so I assume it will be similar elsewhere...

Changes to the GLB identical to the other compact models
In 2022 models, the GLB will no longer have the electrically adjustable driver's seat with memory function, as will the variant for the front passenger (code 242 or 275) due to the global semiconductor problem. The memory function of the seats is currently only available in conjunction with the AMG variant.
The MBUX high-end package also does not include the wireless charging system for mobile devices (code 897) or the MBUX augmented reality function for navigation (code U19). Here, too, Mercedes-Benz is reducing the equipment price of the package accordingly, as is also the case with the other compact models for the modification year 2022. The previously available 20 ″ light alloy wheel in 5-spoke design (Code 96R) for the GLB can no longer be ordered in the future.
Apart from the omission of equipment, there are basically no changes.
A dealer in Cleveland, Ohio shows 15 available, though some are loaner demos. https://www.mbzno.com/new-vehicles/glb/

I’m not sure exactly what it says but I think it says kinetic. It might simply be lacking lumbar support or it might be full power seats. As for as i know none with this code have arrived at dealerships yet.
Salesman confirmed there is no way to add them at a later date.

The seats are fully manual as well as the rear lift gate if you see the credits on their build sheet.
the regular ones are arriving with them missing and a couple of hundred $ credit.
all of the AMG GLB35 are still being built/delivered with those options without problem.
I'm guessing that MB is rationing the components and prioritizing AMG builds.
