I am new to Mercedes and looking to purchase a GLB tomorrow. When I test drove this I asked the salesperson if it was AWD and he said yes. But now that I am going over all of the specs on this sheet, I don't see 4matic listed? Are all Mercedes AWD and 4matic is something extra, or have I been misled?
4MATIC and 4MATIC+ is MB's marketing term for their AWD system so if it doesn't say 4MATIC or 4MATIC+, it doesn't have AWD. If you are getting a GLB 35 for example, look on the side as the 4MATIC badge is replaced from the rear with another badge so they need to put it on the side of the vehicle. For your reference, all GLB 35 sold in North America are 4MATIC.

GLB250 comes as FWD (front wheel drive) or 4Matic. It should be shown in the paperwork and the car such as:
GLB35 comes as AWD. Again it shows as:
