Single to Quad Tailpipes

Hi, Just ordered a set of quad exhaust tips to replace the singles in my GLB35.
I know these are direct replacement but what needs to come off to attach them? Ie diffuser etc? Not much info on Google what needs to be done.
Thanks

Read the post but unfortunately I can't see the clips holding on the rear apron that need to come off.

Yes. the diffuser panel under the bumper cover has to come off for access. Also helps to remove exhaust pipe mounting (E10?) star head bolts. The OEM tailpipe mounting brackets are affixed with three pop rivets, two inward and one outward. The outward rivets are nearly impossible to reach from under the car. The gloss black trim strip can be (carefully) pulled pulled away at each end for room to drill out the pop rivets. The black trim is securely snapped into place and may take some effort to unclip without damaging the finish. To slide the OEM tailpipe back, use a flat blade screwdriver working on top of the bracket in order to release it.

A tailpipe kit from AliExpress typically comes with a set 4 screws, nuts and washers for reattaching the mounting brackets. For proper re-fitment it is best to install another screw assembly on each side which replaces the third rivet removed. Reassembling using screws rather than pop rivets makes it easier for aligning onto the bumper.

The inner metal tab on top an AliExpress tailpipe may have to be trimmed back a few mm so the new dual opening trim piece can be fully snapped onto the mounting bracket.

20-25mm may need to be cut off the exhaust pipe. This makes reassembly easier and avoids the exhaust pipe chafing inside the dual tailpipe when everything is put back together.
