I was just at my dealer picking up my 2022 GLB 35, and they told me that Mercedes is not making the GLB 35 or the GLA 35 for the model year 2023. I couldn't find anything online confirming this.

That is what happened to Forrester XT, since the XT sale numbers were not high enough to justify the production compared to Subaru's best seller base Forrester model.... MB never released the GLB 45 that was on the test drives... I don't see many GLB 35 for sale also esp compared to GLC 43 etc... Maybe MB will be pushing new GLC model or electric cars which might be more compliant with the changing carbon emissions requirements...

Wasn't there a news article about they were cutting all the low end AMG models (I thought that meant the 35 and 45 models) and only selling the 43,53, 63 models? They already axed the A-class. IMHO MB has wayyyy too many models.
Do we really need a GLA, GLB, GLC, GLE, GLS, and G all with options of at least 2 different motors?!?!

Something interesting I observed so far and I am sure others do too, how come the grille on the GLB 250 is not the star pin grille like the other facelifted MB models but still the diamond pin grille (although I do like the latter more but I am part of the minority)

Since the 2024 facelift was coming out I guess MB didn't bother changing much, the facelift however got new headlights and taillights graphics, minor interior changes and MBUX 2.0 (NTG 7.0 same as the one in the W223 S-Class and W206 C-Class) but horizontal screen instead of vertical screen.

Price hikes are common going from previous generation to new generation and also true for pre-facelift to facelift. This was true when none of this that is going on in the world happened so not surprised there.

Curious if there is an answer to this. I see 2024 facelift for the GLB. I see the touchpad is removed. Will this mean the infotainment screen is controlled by touchscreen only? If so I want the 2023. I despise the screens and the finger prints. I love my GLE with the center console dial and touchpad like a laptop. The screen is clean without finger prints. We also have an Audi A8 2016, prior to all touch and it stays so much cleaner and looks so much better and refined vs. 2020+ models. I hate that car companies are losing the buttons.
