Use GLA250 winter wheel/tire on GLB?

I have a Tire Rack winter set I was given by a family member, only 1K miles on it, so I’d really like to make it work. From what I can tell from reading, it looks like I just need a 10mm spacer to make this 18x8 offset 35 wheel fit, or can I get away without the wheel spacer? I know tire size isn’t stock, but it’s a small enough difference for my predominantly around town usage that I don’t care about the speedo error or clearance change (coming from a Sonata N line I’m way in the green in the clearance column).

Thinking about These wheel spacers

Here’s specs on package, assume hub dia. and TPMS specs are same, but correct me if I’m wrong please.

My GLB35 is fine with 20x8.5 winter wheels with ET42's. I don't know if GLB250 and GLB35 has the same fender spacing, eg my MB wheels are wider 255/35R21 ET51, but your set up shows 0.7 mm more on the outside compared to mine which should be OK. Your new tire ET is pushing more to outside, so you don't need any spacers. Since you have the tires, you can install and check it if it clears the fender.

Compared to GLB250 set up your wheel size is going down 3.39% (2.86% compared to GLB35). They usually recommend staying below 3%. Also you are loosing nearly half an inch clearance. Lowering the clearance might not be good for snow and water puddles in winter depending on where you live... Again it is your choice...

Thanks for your reply. My concern was on the inside hitting hard parts more than fender clearance. Since you are running a wider rim, as you noted, there is .7mm of difference farther out but that's basically 1/4", and I would say based on your wider tire being OK I would think if you aren't close to fender contact I'd be fine. With your set up you are pulled in much more than I would be, and that's again where my concern was. Your combo gives you 5.9" from the mounting face back towards the suspension, while my combo only gives 5.38". But you are right, I definitely would not need a spacer. Last winter I was in my Sonata N line, which from the factory is almost 1/2" shorter than a standard Sonata, so even down 1/2" on the GLB I am way ahead. Most of my winter driving is kids to school and VERY short drive to work, all on 25 and 35mph roads, so my big problem with the N line was not clearance, it was traction with 375hp (JB4 tune) and no limited slip, so really looking forward to the AWD.

I am jealous of your 35, I have seriously considered trading up to that, I thought I could live with the drop in performance, but man, it is such a huge drop. The midrange passing of my N line was better than even the 35, so the stock 250 is killing me, slowly.
