Are 19" Michelin Latitude Sport 3 good on GLB

Are Michelin Latitude Sport 3 235/50R19 MO tires good on a GLB? I'm thinking of making the switch from Continental ProContact GX SSR 235/50ZR19 MOE tires that came on my 2022 GLB 35. The Continentals have somewhat sloppy handling, are too harsh over bumps and bounce too much for me over uneven pavement, particularly on the highway. Since the Michelins are summer tires and weigh about 2.5 pounds apiece less than the Continentals, I'm hoping the ride, responsiveness and handling will be better, plus I'm not concerned with Michelin's lower rated tread life. Going to 20" wheels aren't an option.

While I can’t speak to the Michelin’s, one point of interest with either tire, lower your inflation. MB’s 43 psi is for max load, and that makes ride harsher no matter what. I’m running 36 psi in the Conti’s, noticeable improvement on our Michigan washboards, I mean roads.

I had Pilot Sport 4S on my Macan GTS, have thought about going to those on GLB (yes, I know not a run flat), since I run Blizzaks in the winter anyway.

GLB35 AMG is stiff compared to non AMG models... You are asking for performance, but this will make the car more bouncy, harsher... I would first check the tire pressure compared to the fuel cap to see if it is high. Also it would help to switch to run flats.

Mine came with 21" Conti 6 summer rf tires, performance was great, but it was too harsh to drive everyday... MB service recommended me to switch to all seasons and even that didn't help too much as they are Michelin UHP Pilot AS tires. UHP AS tires are very close to summer performance though they are not as sticky....The best comfort came with the 20" Michelin Alpin 5 winter tires and the performance might be the worst, but it is good enough for me... However, I cannot drive winter tires all year... I am running 255's which might give more grip in dry compared to 235...

I don't know where you are located, but if you are not running the summer tires at high temps, they might be bouncy also... Here is graph from Michelin that shows the grip vs temp:

You can check Michelin tire comparison, 4s is the summer tire to run:

Latitude 3 reviews since I don't see a test at tirerack:

UHP all season tire comparison, Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus might be a good choice also:

The psi I run on the Continentals is at max load for for better responsiveness and the ride is actually not bad except when on rough roads and over large bumps. I agree comfort at 36 psi is a lot better, but it makes the handling and responsiveness to me unacceptably sluggish.

The question is actually directed to owners who run Michelin Latitude Sport 3 235/50R19 MO tires on their GLB. I believe some cars were delivered with these tires (particularly ones delivered to Europe).
