OEM logo projectors

Apologies if this has been asked before, I could not find an answer when I searched. If I purchase OEM logo projectors for the GLB, are they plug and play, or is there more to installing them. Seems silly to pay the dealer to install them if it is 5 minute install.

They are plug and play with one caveat. There is a 50/50 % chance that door module will be missing a code, and the logo lights will blink, thinking there is a ground fault. There was a MB bulletin in this regard across multiple MB models, and the dealers know about it. You can still do it yourself and have the dealer program the code, next time you there. There are several member on this thread that went that rout.

Did self install - needed code at dealers

As Vlad states above, I did self install (Which was quite easy, once I was able to a start prying the existing reflector/light out), however, they immediately started flickering/not working. I had existing appointment with dealer for a different topic, and mentioned the puddle lights were blinking (Did not know this was a known issue at the time)- they went ahead and downloaded the software/code and it fixed the problem immediately. I played "stupid" and did not mention that I did the install - they did not ask and just assumed they were stock on my model and somehow the code was dropped. Hope this helps.

I purchased mine OEM on eBay for $90 plus tax. You can also buy them from online MB dealers or your local dealer. Just Google MB part number.

I purchased mine on eBay as well. Pretty sure I searched on MB part number like Vlad suggested.

Amazon sells similar item for about $20.00 for 4 lights. Some have noted the flickering issue.
