Headlights up and down

Hi there, I'm new to the group and also new to the Mercedes line... I actually have now a GLB AMG35.

Everything on this car is peachy...

But I have one big problem and those are my headlights... They go up and down...
When I accelerate hard the lights go to a normal level, but when I let go fo the throttle... The lights go back down and almost look like they are literally shinih just in front of the car..

Anybody experienced this before and if so.. what are the steps to take..

Thanks

Some Mercedes Benzes have automatic leveling headlights. My E Class had them but my GLB250 does not. They may be available on the GLB35 and yours are not properly functioning. I assume that yours is new and under warranty so I would suggest returning to the dealer for service.

That's a no can do on the island right now... The benz dealership closed here...a few months ago... But I also have a aux battery malfunction.. maybe it has something to do with that 2? I ordered a new battery so I'm waiting on that to see if that could be the culprit...

I didn’t realize that you were located in the Caribbean islands until I looked at your profile. Sorry to hear about your dealer. If the new auxiliary battery doesn’t solve the headlight problem, a scanner capable of reading all the systems on the car may help find the failing component. If you don’t have one, is there an independent shop on the island that deals in European cars? Headlight assemblies are too expensive to troubleshoot by swapping parts.

2014 C63
My GLB doesn't have this... but my C63 has a feature if you push the turn signal stalk towards the dash, it clicks into place which enables the high beams until it detects another car or bright light and disables the high beams. Once that detected light sources passes, it re-enables the high beams, etc. Pulling the stalk one more time towards the wheel (default setting) puts it back to normal and a pull towards the wheel is a momentary flash on the high beams which you can also hold in place.

Yeah I know that function but in this case.. it's just the whole things is moving without me activating the high beams... Still waiting on my aux battery to see if that fixes it ..
