Seat Comfort

Any comments on or comparisons to other MB models of the seats of the GLB?

I really loved the seats in my E350 and the GLB loaners seemed ok but I never drove longer than 1.5 hours.

tx!

GLB seats are a bit stiff, but the side bolstering hugs nicely. I also deflated the lumbar to give it a more softer feel. The seat extender is a good feature, however it does not provide enough support on the sides, especially to the left leg.

Agree with Vlad, they're not bad, but not great either.

Vlad is spot on with the left leg comment.

I actually find them decent, but not great. I realize this is not a performance car, but the almost complete lack of bolstering on sides of squab is disappointing. Couple that with the complete lack of anything resembling padding for right knee and it’s a bad combo. But the seatback is comfortable, and the extension comes out far enough to provide support while maintaining the heating and cooling. I wish I could take 18 way seats from my Macan GTS and put them in every car I own, they just fit me.

we test drove the GLB AMG seats and found them uncomfortable- too firm.

Seats are a tough thing to get right. As I get older, I want a more comfortable seat - I miss my E350 wagon. A lot. Sigh.

They’re nice and comfy for me. Seat Kinetics helps sometime. Been on long road trips, drive about 2 hours a day at least.
