2022 GLB 35 - Pending Buy Back due to Issues
The next problem after a few months, the vehicle would lose all power after ECO restart from a stop. I would have to put the vehicle in park and back into D again just to be able to drive. After a few times, I would turn off ECO mode every time I drove the vehicle but shouldn't have to for a brand new car. I took it into the shop and was told two valves were leaking, so they replaced the cylinder head. a few months later, it happened again and they did the 2nd cylinder head replacement.
Next problem happened just two weeks ago (just hit my 1 year of ownership) and display showed a "breakdown" message, completely disabling the vehicle drivable. (see picture below). I had it towed back to the dealership. According to the dealership, they contacted Mercedes and was told that this error has already been reported but they do not have a fix for it yet. I was told I could take the vehicle home and if the error came back, to bring the care back in again. Now I just don't feel safe driving the vehicle, never knowing when it will throw the code again and I get stuck somewhere.
Currently working with Mercedes Benz Corporate, pending approval of a buy back offer. Anyone ever go through this process before and have any tips?
Thanks!
Try posting your buyback question on GLE (v167) forum. I saw multiple threads there regarding this subject. First couple of years GLE had numerous 48Volt mild hybrid issues that took a while to resolve.
