Third Row Installation
Hi everyone,
I bought a GLB 250 2021 5-seater and wanted to know if installing the third row to make it a seven-seater is possible. is there anywhere I can buy them? I want to make it legit like the actual GLB seven-seater Mercedes offers.

I suppose anything is possible. I’m not sure about practical.
I have a 2021 7 seat model. The load floor of the 5 seat model lacks the mounting points for the folding back seats. I’m not sure how difficult that modification would be. The 7 seat model also has a slightly higher GVW, which leads me to think there are spring rate differences, but that could be easily changed if the underbody mounts are the same. The second row seats on the 7 seater also have a quick entry feature. There are two second row seat designs in the 5 seaters. The fixed second row definitely lacks that feature. I don’t know if the adjustable second row for the 5 seater is the same as what is in the 7 seater.
Already having the 7 seater, and not having any friends interested in converting their 5 seaters, I haven’t looked any deeper into this.
