Hi. I activated the Dashcam on my GLB250 and when I playback a video on the infotaiment screen.. it is not using the entire screen.. same as Carplay did on my MY21 GLB. Am I missing something? I mean not that it is important to playback dashcam video on the infotaiment... but wondering if there is a setting to make the video to use the entire screen. I'm guessing those MB Apps are not up to date to use the full horizontal screen on the GLB250. Wondering if on the GLE is the same.

 

I gave up. Installed the FitcamX. No regrets. Easy to use and always on.

 

Dashcam records in 16:9 aspect ratio, whereas the screen is more widescreen. Of course it's not gonna fill out the sides.

As for AA / carplay, they were designed for the smaller screen version hence the black bars on the side. You can install an aftermarket solution if you want to make it fullscreen:

My recordings are sometimes showing up in green/look corrupted. Anyone have this issue?

 

disregard. Corrupted memory card. Went with a new one and problem went away
