Thanks for the tip, rbrylaw. I didn't individualize my drive because I felt that the Comfort worked for me. But, you have a good point, at least the Agility selection (C,I, etc) appears front and center above the steering column and is less likely to be missed should one occasionally forget to set his drive mode. Of course, a default to the preferred drive mode would be the most convenient, but I'm sure there are reasons for not having this option -- most likely something to do with EPA fuel economy rating.

I'm sure it has everything to do with EPA Fuel Ratings. I simply won't drive in Eco though, so now for me, it's like putting on a seat belt, which I do even if I'm just backing up. My get in the car habit is now, put on seat belt. Start Engine. Adjust Agility Select. Turn on Comand.

Good tip. Driving in eco is no fun...I could tell a huge difference in performance and with gas prices as low as they are (for now), there's little incentive to drive in that mode for a few extra MPG.
