Ordering guide last June:
Interior Package...$2500 (Includes MB-Tex Dashboard with Top-Stitching)
Sport Package......$2950 (Includes MB-Tex Dashboard with Top-Stitching)
Configurator in October:
Interior Package...$1850
Sport Package......$2300
MB-Tex Dash.........$650 (Must order Sport or Interior package)
Current configurator:
Interior Package...$2500
Sport Package......$2300
MB-Tex Dash.........$650 (Must order Sport or Interior package)
Price of interior Package plus MB-Tex Dash increased by $650.
At one time the Interior Package was shown as both $1850 and $2500

Shell Game? Not really. All you're posting is pricing as it was being finalized and made inline with other cars in the Mercedes Line-up from early pre-production to actual retail pricess. And the prices on the GLC for those options are now inline with it's C Class Sibling.

I believe it's so people who don't want to pay for the Interior Package or the Sport Package can add the Stitched Dash as a separate option.

But you can't add the mb tex dash without either the sport or interior package. At least you can't if you try to build it at mbusa.com.

The configurator only gives you an approximate idea of options and pricing. It's NetStar the dealers use to order cars and there are options the dealers have that may not be reflected in the configurator. I believe the stitched dash is one such option. I could be wrong too.......

I could be wrong too.......so it's best to check with the dealer directly for exact options and pricing.
