My Build

Here is my build.

4matic
Selenite Gray Metallic
Espresso Brown Leather
Lighting Package
Multimedia Package
Sport Package
Driver Assistance Package
Premium Package
Interior Package
Night Package
Rearview Camera
Panorama Sunroof
Head-Up Display
Trailer Hitch
Burl Walnut Wood
Burmester Surround Sound System
19" Black Twin 5-Spoke AMG Wheel

Getting to this point was about a painful six month process. Primarily because my wife was involved. This ordinarily pragmatic woman, was in this instance, so wishy washy, on more than one occasion, I was ready to toss in the towel. A plus here is that will not have to subject myself to these travails again as this will most likely be our last vehicle.

When I bought the ZO6 the entire process took about 30 minutes. Of course choosing options was simple as there were but two.

Advice from an old man who has bought many cars. Do your best to not involve your spouse. If this fails turn the entire effort over to her and bow out. lol

Great Build for sure. Doesn't look like you left much of anything out, except 4matic? Should be a wonderful GLC! Congrats.

Thanks.

Ops, forgot to list 4matic. Live in OH, 4matic is a no brainer.

Tampa, FL., here. 4Matic while important up north, wasn't an option we need in the land of absolutely no snow ever!

2016 GLC 4Matic
And yet another build... Mine.

GLC300 4Matic
Iridium Silver
19" 5 spoke tires
Lighting package
Silk Beige Espresso Leather
Linden wood -- although still considering Black Ash
Interior Package
Top Stitched MB-Tex upper dash -- I could do without this, but can't
Premium Package
Multimedia Package
Head-Up display
Burmester Sound
Advanced Parking Assist Package
Driver Assistance Package
Air Body Control

That comes to $58,225 on the mbusa website and $58,875 on the dealer's computer.

I am a little concerned about the color choices... my 2012 ML is Iridium silver with a GRAY interior; I like the combination. The only choices on the GLC interior are black (too hot in the summer sun), beige (I call it light brown or tan) and espresso brown. I don't think a brown (light or dark) interior goes well with a silver gray exterior... but I could probably get used to it. I don't want to go for the designo versions. Choices, choices.

Unless it's an AMG and it's standard

In the US, we can only order a GLC300 or a GLC300 4Matic as there is no AMG option which includes 4Matic.

Hello Joe, Cincinnati is a great town. I worked in Evendale for many years.

Sure wish we had a better ball team. I'm getting tired of taking stik from my kid who lives in St Louis. Unfortunately, don't think improvement coming anytime soon.

The GLC I have on order will be the first foreign car I've owned. We looked at every brand American made suv but could fine nothing that possessed the engineering and styling we were looking for. I'm optimistic we'll be very pleased with our Deutschland built suv.

At some point in the future, manufacture of the GLC will move to the Alabama MB plant.
