Ambient Lighting Inside
If you choose Interior Package, it comes with with Ambient lighting in 3 colors. The question I have is, without interior package, do we get the ambient lighting at all? If we do, is it a scaled down version (may be it might not lit all the places with interior package)? I greatly appreciate your feedback.

You can't in the US unless you get the Interior Package. Maybe in the future that will be changing because on the 2017 C Coupe ordering guide you don't need the Interior Package for Ambiet lighting. You just need the Premuim 2 Package... Which comes with Multi-Media package amongst other things. So maybe for 2017 it will change for US cars

I would disagree with those who say you don't get any ambient lighting without the interior package. You get a much reduced package. With the Ambient lighting in the Interior package, you get ambient lighting in or around the following:
The center console is outlined
The side door panels are outlined
The footwell is lit
There is a light facing down from the rear view mirror
The center console cup holders are lit
If you don't get the Interior Package with Ambient Lighting the following is included:
The foot wells are lit
The light is still there under the rear view mirror
You can not select any colors, but it's not pitch black inside the cabin.

I have the ambient light and would probably not have ordered it if it was an option on its own however; now that I have it, it makes a huge difference. I absolutely love it!

What colour do you find yourself using most? I have left our GLC on the orange (I think they call is "solar") setting since we picked it up - looks great at night.
