Hey guys I been waiting for the GLC 43 to come out and I happened to stumble upon a youtube video from Mercedes which shows off the sound.
My lease will be up on my 13 c350 beginning of next year and I need an SUV. Now I am torn between BMW X3 M40i and the GLC43
I guess I got to drive both now and see which one performs better. Both seem like they will offer a lot for this class.

Rumor has it new c43 is $52 base... I am hearing GLC will be closely priced. Fully loaded you are looking at roughly $65k.
I originally was going to get the C43 coupe... However coming from an ML63 I think it would be way too difficult of a transition so I have changed my mind and will be getting the GLC43. Originally was going to get the 2012 ML63 biturbo for the same price but it makes no sense to buy a used 5 year old car with old technology & etc when his new GLC43 is same price and I can get all of the newest technology. Plus the new 9spd blows the old 7G out of the water.
It's like a Baby ML63 but weight 1,300 less! (4000 vs 5300lbs). It will handle so much better, and with a Eurocharged tune it will put out stupid power and be much faster. This is the SUV I have been waiting for. Another reason why I will get the GLC43 over the C43 is you can fit WAY more rubber underneath the fenders making it a much more fun platform to tune.
Also the weight penalty over a C43 4-Matic is almost nothing (both roughly 4000lbs)

Cool, I still am going to opt for the GLC43 bc it's much much lighter and can be tuned to produce as much as the 63s stock but with all the added benefits. Also the 63 will most likely have the 7 speed and not the new 9 speed.
Also I already have an AMG GTS on order so no point in getting the 63
